OG Talk with The Elders of Waverly

Starting something new in the community can be greatly enhanced by engaging with and drawing on the wisdom of elders in the community. The Finney Center welcomed the elders of Waverly to discuss their ideas for an onsite gardening initiative. The elders shared their gardening interests, their family history in the Waverly community, and how they maintain their yards and indoor plants. From this loving conversation, new relationships and broader conversations developed the concept for the Boxcar Garden.
