Starting something new in the community can be greatly enhanced by engaging with and drawing on the wisdom of elders in the community. The Finney Center welcomed the elders of Waverly to discuss a new onsite gardening initiative led by Christina Smith-Galloway. From this loving conversation, new beginnings, new relationships, and broader conversations developed the Boxcar Garden.
