CommuniTea- Back-to-School Recess

CommuniTea is a Sows and Grows experience in partnership with the Ernest A. Finney, Jr. Cultural Arts Center. The experience centers seed, story, and sustainability. Community members came together to engage in various nostalgic recess activities. A discussion about recess, prioritizing play, and how it boosts creativity and problem-solving skills reminded us all of it's importance in the daily lives of children and adults. Everyone enjoyed a refreshing basil infused tea harvested from the Boxcar Garden and left with a citrus basil plant to grow at home. It was a great time for all!
